Fire in Brighton & Hove could be seen for miles

Firefighters were called to deal with two vehicles well alight in Brighton and Hove this afternoon.

After the call at about 2.35pm two engines were sent to the fire involving a caravan and a car near the Volks Railway on Madeira Drive in the Kemptown area in Brighton.

Two appliances, one from Preston Circus and the other from Roedean fire station attended. Crews also used breathing apparatus and foam to get it all under control. There are no reports of any injuries.
