Brighton's i360 opens to members of the public
Members of the public will be able to visit Brighton's new i360 tower for the first time from today.
The £46m observation tower rises 450 feet over the city provides views across the city and the Sussex coastline.
'Flights' up the i360 last 20 minutes during the day and 30 minutes after 6pm. Tickets cost from £13.50 for adults and from £6.75 for children, with under 4s free.
Designed by the creators of the London Eye, the i360 is the biggest tourist attraction to be build in Brighton for over a hundred years, but some have criticised the structure as an eyesore and a waste of money.
