Emergency services tackled the fire for 6 hours, between 2am and 830am. Although the fire has been put out, delays are expected to continue for the rest of the day.
Delays were made worse when Clapham Junction station also had to be closed this morning due to overcrowding.
As a result, many commuters were delayed for up to 2 hours - and services are still affected. All routes to and from London Waterloo have been affected.
South West Trains have warned that passengers not to travel unless absolutely essential:

South West Trains say they are arranging to operate a train shuttle between Staines and Windsor in both directions where possible.
The operator says tickets can be used on Great Western on any reasonable route and Southern Railway between Dorking/Epsom/Clapham Junction and London Victoria.
