The RSPCA have rescued a six-week old kitten found inside a shoe box in Essex.

The cardboard box had been taped shut with silver duct-tape.

A member of the public found the black and white kitten after hearing sounds coming from the abandoned box at a bus stop in South Ockenden.

The RSPCA say the kitten - now named Loboutin - is in very good condition.

She's such a gorgeous playful little thing it is incredible to think someone would just dump her like that.
