Aldi sets sights on Chickerell in Weymouth

Food discount supermarket ALDI are making plans to build a new store in Weymouth.

The international discount chain store will be seeking planning permission for a new food store in Chickerell, creating up to 50 new jobs. The store will have a store area of approximately 1,254 sq m and is expected to open in 2017.

The proposed Link Park store will be their fifth in Dorset and the first ever food store for Chickerell.
