New road brings relief for commuters in Bognor

The Bognor Relief Road has finally been completed after 5 years of construction and more than 30 years of planning.

Although it cost £28m, the costs were covered by a construction firm.

The 3km road links the A29 at Shripney and the A259 at Flansham, cutting out long delays caused by traffic at Felpham, West Sussex.

The council says it could save drivers up to an hour each day.
