Woman seriously injured in supermarket car park accident

Police have confirmed that a woman has been seriously injured in an accident in a Tesco car park at Willesborough in Kent.

Officers say they received a report of a collision involving a blue Renault Megane and a pedestrian in the car park at 11.48am on Thursday.

A woman in her 30s sustained head injuries and was taken to a London hospital where she remains in a serious condition.

The male driver of the car and his female passenger were taken to hospital as a precaution.
