Jimmy Hill dies aged 87

The former footballer and broadcaster Jimmy Hill has died after a long battle with Alzheimer's.

The eighty seven year old who lived in Brighton, had been credited with changing modern football across the world. He'd also been a former head of Sport for ITV.

Jimmy keen for his football team to 'carry on' in one of his last TV interviews

One of Jimmy's last public appearances was in 2011 when a statue was unveiled to him outside Coventry City football club.

He spent some time during his expansive career at the club and spoke to ITV following the reveal outside the stadium.
