Pensioner, 92, threatened with deportation

A 92-year-old lady who wants to spend her twighlight years with her only daughter in Dorset is being threatened with deportation.

Myrtle Cothill says her health is fading and she couldn't survive on her own in her native South Africa.

The barrister who tried but failed to win her case on appeal has launched a petition asking the Home Office to let Mrs Cothill stay. Sally Simmonds takes up the story.
