Friends have gathered on the Isle of Wight to remember Damien Nettles who disappeared exactly 19 years ago. A candlelit vigil has been held in Cowes for the 16 year old who was last seen at a fish and chip shop in the town on the 2nd of November 1996. Since then, more than 350 witness statements have been taken. Detectives say they can't rule out murder or foul play but despite extensive searches no trace has ever been found of him and no body discovered. Police say the case remains open and appeals for information continue. His friend Paula Hall made this plea for help.
