Man's body discovered outside supermarket

Police were called to Crasswell Street in Portsmouth shortly before 7am this morning after a man's body was found on the pavement outside a Tesco store.

Enquiries have begun to determine the circumstances of his death and to establish the identity of the deceased man.

Officers believe he was in his late 40s. Local CCTV is being examined and a cordon is in place which may have some impact on shoppers this morning.
