3D printer provides woman with artificial knees
An opera singer has become the first person in the country to be given two artificial knees - thanks to revolutionary 3D printing technology. Paula Anglin from Hove, in Sussex, was forced to stop performing on stage when her arthritis became severe. But she now has new knees, modelled on her own. Detailed x-rays were sent to the United States where 3D printers created an exact copy.
