A Warwickshire Police spokesman said: "Two men were injured this morning when a light aircraft collided with the runway at an airstrip in Shotteswell, near Banbury.
"The collision happened just before 12 noon at the Shotteswell Farm airfield. "One of the injured men has been airlifted to the John Radcliffe Hospital at Oxford."
Police said the B4100 had been reopened following the incident.
