Cyclist killed in road crash in Dorset

A cyclist has been killed in a collision with a car in Dorset. The accident happened just after 2pm today on the A37 Dorchester bypass between the Weir and Monkeys Jump roundabouts. The 55 year old man from the Dorchester area died at the scene. The driver of the car, a 75 year old woman, was unhurt.

Officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward. Anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
