Signed Elton John painting stolen from pub

Police in Dorset are appealing for information to come forward after the theft of a unique oil painting from a pub in the town.

The theft of the signed, hand-painted oil painting of Elton John happened between 10.30am on Friday 7 November 2014 and 8.30am on Sunday 9 November 2014 from the Dolphin Inn at Peacemarsh.

Police Constable Stuart Loudwell, of Blandford police, said: “This picture of Elton John was painted by the victim who then made great efforts to get it signed by the musician.

“I would like to hear from anyone who may know who was responsible for this theft to contact me."
