Best town centre in Britain is - Wantage in Oxfordshire

It's most famous as the place where King Alfred the Great was born. But now Wantage in Oxfordshire has another claim to fame. It's just been voted the best town centre in the country in the Great British High Street Awards, because of the way the community has pulled together to turn around its economic fortunes.
