Visitors to a Hampshire zoo can see a whole host of creatures - and now they can add dinosaurs to their list.

The special encounter is part of Marwell Zoo's 'Rise of the Dinosaurs' event which will happen on the 23rd May.

The zoo will be turned into a jurassic jungle with terrifying tyrants such as the flying Quetzalcoatlus, armoured Triceratops, spiked Edmontonia and the deadly Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Kirstie Mathieson, Project Leader for Rise of the Dinosaurs said: “With T-Rex weighing just over 3 tons, it was a huge operation moving them around the zoo and getting them all in place. We will now be making some final touches ready for them to go live."
