Police in Kent have issued a warning over the dangers of explosive bird scarers, after several were found in woodland
Police in Kent are issuing warnings over the dangers of explosive bird scarers. Officers were called to Bysingwoods in Faversham following reports of gunshot. They found a number of bird scaring ropes which they say had been put in areas where children could access them.
Although not illegal, the scarers, known as "crow bangers" were paced indiscriminately, despite strict controls on how they are meant to be used.
Anyone who finds one is urged to contact police on 101
