A fleet of 18 vintage buses is taking to the streets of Southampton to raise money for Naomi House. The oldest bus - a 1947 double decker.
Vintage buses take to the streets
A fleet of 18 vintage busses is taking to the streets of Southampton to raise money for Naomi House. The oldest bus is a 1947 double decker (the Bristol K6A), which is re-creating its 1960s route from Southampton Docks to the city centre.
The busses are providing free services from the docks / city centre to other districts such as Portswood, Swathling, Bitterne Park and Basset. Organisers PH Bus hope locals will take a ride and raise money for Naomi House Hospice and Jacks Place at Sutton Scotney in Hampshire.
