Nine men will face a jury this week accused of being part of a child sex ring.

The defendants face an estimated eight weeks in the dock following their arrest under Thames Valley Police's Operation Bullfinch last March.

Prosecution continues outlining sex ring case

Prosecutor Noel Lucas QC has continued outlining the case against nine men from Oxford accused of running a child prostitution ring.

At the Old Bailey, he said one victim had been in foster care from the age of five. She says she was threatened and had no choice but have sex with the men.

Another 13-year-old victim was taken to a flat where men were brought to have sex with her, the court heard.

The accused men are Akhtar Dogar, 32, Anjum Dogar, 30, Bassam Karrar, 32, Mohammed Karrar, 38, Kamar Jamil, 27, Zeeshan Ahmed, 27, Assad Hussain, 32, Bilal Ahmed, 26, and Mohammed Hussain, 24.

The men deny 51 counts including rape, trafficking and organising prostitution between 2004 and 2011.
