Fire has broken out on a ferry in the Solent. The Wightlink ferry arrived in Fishbourne and was met by fire crews.

A plume of black smoke could be seen over the Solent today when a passenger ferry - carrying 52 passengers - caught fire.
Thirteen crew were onboard the Wightlink ferry sailing from Portsmouth to Fishbourne. No-one was badly injured - and the crew managed to put out the fire which started on the bridge. Rachel Hepworth reports

Fire broke out on a ferry in the Solent. The Wightlink ferry arrived in Fishbourne and was met by fire crews. The blaze broke out aboard MV St Faith, a vehicle and passenger ferry sailing between Portsmouth and Fishbourne. No one was injured.
