A ceremony is being held this afternoon to mark the handover of the RAF's Oxfordshire-based Merlin helicopter force to the Royal Navy.

Twenty five aircraft based at RAF Benson will be moved to the 846 Naval Air Squadron in Somerset over the next two years.

The Duke of York and Prince Michael of Kent are expected to attend the parade and air display.
