Car fire causes long delays on M3 southbound

Drivers are facing long delays on the M3 southbound after a car caught fire.

Police and fire crews were called to the southbound carriageway between junction 8 for Popham and junction 9 for Winnall.

Drivers took to Twitter to report that all three lanes were stationary.

It's thought all lanes have now been cleared with traffic slowly returning to normal.
