Body found on Southampton Common

An investigation has started after a man's body was discovered on Southamptom Common.

Police were called to Ornamental Lake on the common at around 9am this morning, Saturday 1st December 2018.

At this stage, the death is being treated as unexplained and not suspicious.

This morning's weekly Southampton parkrun has been cancelled.
