Police investigate after baby injured by pins left in changing mat

A mother from Oxfordshire has taken to social media to warn others after realising the baby changing mat at the local village hall was covered in pins.

Unaware, she put her baby down to change and assumed his cry was due to tiredness. However, when she picked him up she became aware of the pins laid on the bed.

Thames Valley Police said they were aware two babies were injured in the village hall in Rack End, Standlake, Oxfordshire.
