From Meridian's child of courage to British citizen award winner

A young man from Bournemouth has come a long way since receiving ITV Meridian's child of courage award in 2004.

Initially recognised for his dedication to improving the lives of diabetes sufferers, Shane Board has again been recognised for his efforts in Westminster as he receives a British citizen award.

Fred and Amanda caught up with Shane when he came to visit our studios.
