Midsomer Murders is now in its 15th series, with a body count of two hundred and seventy seven, but that doesn't stop thousands of fans coming to the region to seek out a slice of Midsomer life.

Now a local author has written a book detailing the real life villages. Rachel Hepworth bravely went to meet him.
