Protesters have stormed a runway at London City Airport, disrupting all flights in and out of the airport. Activist group Black Lives Matter UK have claimed responsibility for the protest. There are currently nine protesters on the runway at the airport.
A furious passenger says the Black Lives Matter protest that brought London City Airport to a standstill was "really uncalled for". When asked what she thought about the protest, she replied: "Black lives what? They can f*** ***."
The woman, who did not give her name, was delayed en route to Lagos.
The unlicensed events unfolded on Saturday night at Clapham Common and Tooting Bec Common.
