The new Lord Mayor, Alan Yarrow, has been blessed at St Paul's Cathedral as part of the Lord Mayor's Show - which sees him riding through the City's streets in a golden carriage to celebrate taking over as the head of the City of London Corporation for the next year.
The golden carriage is at the end of a huge parade which has been working its way through the city this afternoon - and will culminate in a fireworks display at 5.15pm.
The unlicensed events unfolded on Saturday night at Clapham Common and Tooting Bec Common.
