Juan Mata's £37 million move to Manchester United will be finalised sooner rather than later, Jose Mourinho has said.
United are expected to finalise the club-record deal today with Jose Mourinho seemingly happy to let the Spanish international, who has been reduced to a bit-part role under the Portuguese manager, leave.
"Things are going in a good direction. We allowed Juan to travel and have a medical and I think sooner rather than later things will be finalised," Mourinho told a press conference.
"When the offer came I asked him 'are you really happy to go?' and he said 'yes, I'm really happy'."
