First glimpse at plans for Southbank Centre skate space

The Southbank Centre has revealed what a planned new site for skateboarders could look like. The centre wants to turn the existing space into shops with a new site located 120 metres away.

The space under Hungerford Bridge would be at least 10% larger than the existing site in the Queen Elizabeth Hall undercroft. It would also be free to use and hours 24 hours a day.
