London Olympic set designer Mark Fisher dies
Mark Fisher, the British stage designer and architect behind some of the most spectacular shows in the last 30 years, has died today aged 66.
Fisher designed the stages for the likes of the Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd and U2, and more recently for the opening and closing ceremonies of the London 2012 Games.
He was also responsible for building the stage outside Buckingham Palace for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee concert last year.
