Campaigners fighting fire station closures claim to have unearthed a major flaw in the plans. New figures reveal that, in 40 neighbourhoods across the capital, firefighters will reach emergencies outside the official response time.
London Assembly member Darren Johnson has obtained data on modelled fire response times before and after the proposed cuts come into force.
The following wards will see first response times worsen by over a minute.
