Finsbury Park murder victim named
Homicide detectives investigating the murder of a man in Finsbury Park on Tuesday have named the victim.
He was 45-year-old Matthew Fallon from Tottenham.
A post-mortem examination gave his cause of death as bleeding on the brain.
Officers continue to appeal for witnesses and information.
Police were called at around 8pm on Tuesday, 19 March to Isledon Road in Finsbury Park following reports of a man unconscious in the street.
The man, later identified as Mr Fallon, had sustained a serious head injury - believed to be during an assault - and was taken to hospital.
He died on Thursday 21 March. Next of kin are aware.
A 35-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the investigation and taken to a north London police station.
