Tottenham fans accused of anti-semitism

Another London football club has found itself at the centre of a fresh race row.

Tottenham Hotspur have today defended their fans, after a lawyer threatened to complain that anti-semitic abuse is taking place at matches.

The Society of Black Lawyers say the use of a word, which is a corruption of the word 'Yiddish', is 'unacceptable'.
