Edmonton murder appeal
Police are appealing for witnesses after a 28-year-old man was stabbed to death. It happened in Montagu Road, near the junction with Goodwin Road, at around 11pm on Saturday night.
Teon Palmer from Lower Edmonton was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say they believe his car had all four tyres slashed before the attack in which he died. They say up to seven men wearing hooded tops were seen running away.
Acting Detective Chief Inspector Andy Yeats said:
"We know there were people in the area at the time of the assault on Teon Palmer. I would ask anyone who was in the area of Montagu Road and Goodwin Road, or the surrounding streets, to contact my team.
"A blue Vauxhall Astra car belonging to Teon Palmer was vandalised prior to the assault on him. I believe those who damaged the car knew it belonged to Teon. Did you see anyone hanging around the vehicle or an altercation in the vicinity of the vehicle?"
