Mum whose children were injured in crash arrested on suspicion of drink driving

A mum whose children were injured in a crash has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving.

Images taken at the scene show the devastation caused by the collision on Saturday night in Barking, London.

The pictures - posted on social media by Barking and Dagenham Police - show two cars with their fronts completely smashed in.

Debris can be seen covering the road around both vehicles, one of which has significant damage to its side doors. The other sits crumpled in the middle of the road.

Police cordoned off the area while emergency services dealt with the accident.
