Driver watches in horror as high tides threaten to wash car out to sea

A driver watched in horror as his car was about to be washed out to sea by high tides.

Footage shows a blue car floating in the waves as the tide threatens to sweep it off a slipway.

Police were called to the beach at a slipway in Shoeburyness, Essex.
