Pedestrian, 73, dies after collision with cyclist
A 73-year-old pedestrian has died after colliding with a cyclist in London's Oxford Street.
The woman suffered a head injury in the crash, which happened just before 4.30pm on Tuesday.
She was taken to a central London hospital but died in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said the cyclist stopped at the scene.
No arrests have been made.
Roads in the area were closed for several hours following the incident.
Officers are urging anyone who may have witnessed the collision, and particularly anyone who may have footage of it, to get in touch.
