Police on the scene of a house collapse in Kingston Hill

Police have been called to a house collapse in Kingston. The house in Derwent Avenue was undergoing basement renovations.

The London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade used thermal cameras and probes after initial concerns that someone was inside the property.

Kingston police confirmed nobody was hurt.

The site is being made safe by the local council.
