Terrifying haul of guns handed in during gun amnesty

Almost 50 guns have been handed in across the capital during the last week as part of the Met Police's gun amnesty.

Over the past week 45 guns have been handed including shotguns, revolvers, rifles and handguns.

Once the guns have been handed is they are sent to be destroyed by a special machine which cuts them into small pieces.
