The cats, aged between four and six-weeks-old, were found wrapped in a blanket and abandoned in a white box in Sybourn Street, Walthamstow, on 22 December.
RSPCA animal welfare officer Susan Naish went along to collect the kittens and took them into care.
If anyone knows where these kittens may have come from or saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area on 22 December, the RSPCA urges them to get in touch by calling 0300 123 8018.
