Hungry Londoners queued for more than a mile today relishing the chance to get their hands on a burger from fast food chain In-N-Out.

Hundreds queued for hours outside the American fast food chain, which is open for one day only in Finchley Road, Swiss Cottage, between 11am and 3pm.

The burger chain counts many celebrities among its fans including chef Gordon Ramsay, reality TV star Kim Kardashian, singer Beyonce and models Gigi Hadid and Cara Delevingne.

Based primarily in the American Southwest and Pacific coast, In-N-Out prides itself on its fresh, quality ingredients.

It only offers three options, a hamburger, cheeseburger, ot 'Double-Double' (which consists of two hamburger patties and two slices of cheese), as well as chips and drinks.

The burgers come with lettuce, tomato, with or without onions and a sauce, with no vegetarian options available.

So did it live up to the hype?
