Florence and the Machine sang a heartfelt duet with a teenage fan as the singer made a surprise visit to see her in a hospice.

The 15-year-old girl planned to watch Florence Welch and her band play in Austin, Texas, on Thursday, but missed the gig because of her illness.

So Florence dropped in at the Christopher House hospice in Texas to sing a special acoustic version of her hit Shake It Out.

The videos have been viewed more than 100,000 times.
