A police officer has been dismissed after he was caught taking a class A drug at a nightclub.
Ryan Sproat, who was based at Loddon Valley, Reading, Berkshire, was sacked by Thames Valley Police after a two-day misconduct hearing.
The officer was caught by a doorman at Tiger Tiger nightclub in Portsmouth, Hampshire, taking MDMA. He was arrested by Hampshire Police but no charges were brought because of insufficient evidence.
