Police name 16-year-old wanted in connection with Woodford teen murder

Police investigating the murder of a 16-year-old boy last Saturday are making a direct appeal to the family and friends of a teenage boy they wish to speak to.

Aaron Alexander Tavares-Gaiete, 16, is being treated in a suspect in the murder of Munashe Charles Kutyauripo, known as Charlie, police said.

Aaron is described as black, 5ft 10ins tall, of slim build with facial hair.

He was last seen where a dark hooded jacket with a yellow motif on the left sleeve, dark coloured trousers and trainers, and was carrying a distinctive black 'man bag' with a white Nike logo, police said.

Charlie's family have joined police in asking anyone with any information to come forward.

Police want to speak to anyone who may be in contact with Aaron, and made a direct appeal to the teenager to come into a police station.
