Guy Fawkes night: Where to watch the fireworks near you
The London Fire Brigade (LFB) have released a guide to the best place to watch firework displays taking place to celebrate Guy Fawkes Night.
The celebrations begin on Thursday night, but poor weather conditions damped several displays. The forecast tonight is better, and there are several big displays over the weekend to enjoy.

LFB said the number of private bonfires being erected for the celebrations are at an all time low - last year firefighters attended 112 fires on November 5 compared to 365 a decade earlier, and they are hoping the trend will continue this year.
The reduction in private blazes has also led to a reduction in the number of 999 calls, LFB said. They are urging people to attend organised firework displays and refrain from hosting their own, and have put together an interactive infographic showing the array of different displays available.
Events marked in green are free, whilst those that are ticketed are in red. Click on the map below to see the one nearest to your area.
For those planning to host their own display, they have urged extreme caution, and released a number of safety measures.
Buy fireworks with the British Standard Kitemark
Never drink alcohol if setting fireworks
Keep fireworks in a closed box and always follow the instructions carefully when using them
