A 3D artwork which celebrates the Star Wars movies has appeared underneath Southwark Bridge.

The painting depicts a key scene from the original Star Wars film, when Luke Skywalker flies his X-Wing fighter plane down a trench on the death star.

To unveil the artwork, the artists drafted in a miniature Darth Vader to inspect the 49ft (15m)-long 3D painting.

The installation, created by 3D artists Joe and Max to celebrate the UK launch of the Rise Against The Empire play set, comes complete with sound effects of ships, laser fire and droids.

It will be available for fans to experience until 8pm on October 2.
