A studio flat with barely enough room to squeeze in a mattress has gone on the market for £700-a-month.

The studio flat in Albany Road in South London has been mocked by users on Reddit as little more than a 'mattress with walls'.

The estate agents are keen to point the good links to nearby buses and tubes. But it's the pictures of the interior that are getting everyone talking.

The kitchen and shower areas are equally compact. There's enough room to cook a meal and while there's no option to have a nice relaxing bath there is a shower.
