Four people injured after boat explodes near Windsor Castle
Four people have been taken to hospital after a boat exploded near Windsor Castle.
Large plumes of black smoke could be seen coming from the boat which caught fire while anchored on the River Thames at the Saxon Moorings in Old Windsor, Berkshire, at about 11.44am today.
Four fire engines and a specialist fire boat attended the blaze which destroyed the 25ft boat and damaged a number of others.
Paramedics from South Central Ambulance Service attended and treated five people, four of whom were taken to hospital.
